Where did the Money Go?

$25 billion spent. 187,000 people still on the street.

Where did the money go?

• Developer buddies of the administration

• Construction projects that don't house anyone

• A "poverty industrial complex" that profits from suffering

Here's what we could have done instead:

Give $25,000 per year, directly, to every homeless Californian. Universal basic income. Dignity. A real solution.

But they won't. Because the current system isn't designed to end homelessness. It's designed to manage it. To profit from it.

My plan:

• Stop funding failure

• Universal healthcare + mental health treatment

• Housing First

• Direct cash to people, not the wealthy

This isn’t complciated. They just don’t want to solve it.
